Onderweg kijkt iedereen uit naar het komende evenement. Zodra ze aankomen, warmen de paarden en hun ruiters op, want de competitie begint binnenkort. De paardenshow is voor iedereen een grote uitdaging. De dikke stenen muur heeft veel concentratie nodig. De brede watergeul is ook lastig - veel paarden zijn teruggeschrokken vanwege het glinsterende water. Met de obstakels van palen en planken daarentegen is het hun hoogte die respect bij de renners wekt. Nu moeten ze kalm blijven, geen stokken laten vallen en natuurlijk sneller rijden dan hun tegenstanders. Het parcours kan op een aantal manieren opnieuw worden ontworpen met de obstakels, vlaggen, bomen en markeringen.

The thick stone wall needs a lot of concentration. The wide water trench is also tricky – many horses have shied away because of the shimmering water. With the obstacles made of poles and planks, on the other hand, it’s their height that inspires respect in the riders. Now they need to stay calm, not drop any poles and naturally ride faster than their opponents. The course can be redesigned in a number of ways with the obstacles, flags, trees and markings.
